Green Pantry is an app that lets you keep track of your households food inventory. This app helps you reduce food waste and also helps you save money. This app tracks the food in your kitchen so you know what is about to expire soon. This app will also let you know when an item is close to expiring with a notification. By using all of the foods that you already own , you won’t accident repurchase something you already have before you have used it. This can help you be more thoughtful when it comes to dishes you want to cook.

This prototype demonstrates the process of reviewing your pantry and filtering through different types of items in your fridge.

It also includes a tab that highlights which foods are expiring soon, showing you how many days are left before they go bad.

Another feature of the app focuses on preservation techniques, offering tips on the best ways to store your food so it lasts longer.
